What We Publish?
What types of books do you publish?
We currently publish:
Children’s picture books

We are especially interested in stories that are culturally grounded, educational, community-centered, or focused on social-emotional growth.
What content do you not accept?
At this time, Belle House Media does not publish:
Adult fiction or adult self-help
Explicit or graphic content
Horror or content inappropriate for young readers
Manuscripts that conflict with our mission or values
Submitting Your Work
Do you accept unsolicited submissions?
Yes. We accept submissions through our Author Inquiry Form only. This allows us to review each project thoughtfully and determine the best fit.
Do I need a completed manuscript to submit?
A completed or near-final manuscript is preferred. If your manuscript is still in progress, please note its status clearly in your submission.
Do I need to have an illustrator?
No. Illustrators are not required at the time of submission. If your project requires illustrations, this will be discussed during the review process.

How long does the review process take?
Our typical review timeframe is 4–6 weeks.
Will I receive feedback if my manuscript is not accepted?
Due to the volume of submissions, we are unable to provide detailed feedback on manuscripts that are not selected.
